Had cold cereal for breakfast this morning. Afterward, oh! what congestion in my throat was I plagued with. It was miserable.
And it struck me.
Milk comes from cows. Baby cows drink milk.
Milk comes from human mothers. Human babies drink milk.
Adult cows stop drinking milk. Adult cows start eating grass.
Adult humans stop drinking human mother's milk. Adult humans drink cow milk.
ARE WE BABY COWS?
There are other ways--less congested ways--of getting our calcium.
Unless we like frogs in our throats.
But that's a lament for another day.

*laughs* I love milk, but, man, it's just not worth all the pain it puts me through. And then, I only love milk half the time; like with chocolate or cold cereal. But I hate the alternative milks more (like soy and powdered, yiick!). It's really funny to me what we put ourselves through for taste's sake.
